Hadiyah began with a quiet question: when we want to honour someone — a teacher, a neighbour, a parent — why is the gift so often a scrap of plastic with a corporate logo?

The Prophet ﷺ said: "Give gifts and you will love one another."

The Prophet ﷺ encouraged generosity not as a social obligation, but as a spiritual practice that softens hearts and strengthens the bonds between Muslims. A sincere gift carries barakah — it says "I thought of you" in a way words sometimes cannot.

This hadith is at the heart of why Hadiyah exists. Gifts are not merely transactions — they are a means of drawing hearts closer, of showing someone they matter, and of barakah between people.
